Biography

Russell Brausch, an interdisciplinary artist whose work spans oil painting, ceramics, and sculpture, has been deeply influenced by the contrasting landscapes of Maine and Colorado, where he spent his formative years. These environments have played a pivotal role in shaping his artistic practice, which centers on themes of forest conservation and wildfire.

Russell's academic journey in the arts began at Creighton University, where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts. He is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) at Montana State University (MSU), where he is currently in his third year. In addition to his studies, Russell is an instructor at MSU.
